Overall objective of the Position: The incumbent is responsible for asisting the Technical Director C.E., in matters of environmental studies. Nature and Scope of the Position: Reports to: Technical Director / CE Supervises: Assigned Staff. Qualification: Any of the following qualification. * M.S / B.E. Environmental Engineering * M.Sc. Environmental Studies * MBA (Specialization in Environmental Management and policy). * M.Sc. Sociology Experience, Two-Three years experiences in environmental studies. All citizens of Pakistan having age between 21-28 years relaxable b y 5 years as per Govt. policy who desire to serve anywhere in PESCO may apply for the above posts on the prescribed form available at the cost of Rs. 50/- clearly mentioning name of the post, complete particulars such as name, qualification, domicile, date of birth and experience if any. Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and National Database and REgistration Authority (NADRA) signed an agreement in a graceful -eremony held at WAPDA House Peshawar today on 11-07-2006 to facilitate the PESCO consumers to pay their electricity bills round the clock through KIOSK (Online Billl Payment Machines) installbed by NADRA. The agreement was signed by Chief Executive PESCO Brig. Sakhi Marjan and General Manager (Public Service Division) NADRA Ltd. Col. (REtd) Khalid Hameed Shah. Chief Engineer (Technical Roshan Din, Chief Engineer (Operation) Muhammad Shafiq, Chief Engineer (Customer Service) Iqbal Ali Shah, Director IT/MIS Saeed Ahmad and other senior officers of PESCO and NADRA were also present on the occassion.

Water and Power development Authrotiy (WAPDA) has announced to waive off late payment surcharge levied till May 2006 of all Federal / Provincial Government Departments including Autonomous and Local bodies subject to paymnent of all oustanding electricity dues made upto 30th June 2006. According to this package all the Government / Semi Government, Autonomous and local bodies departments who have not yet paid their electricity dues or made partial payment can pay their outstanding total arrears upto 30th June 2006 without late payment surcharge levied in the electiricty bills against them.
